I can feel my face blazing red.
Like a fluorescent sign at the corner bar.
Shone bright for years, then flickered,
And, finally, it seemed to give up the ghost.
But they must have gotten it fixed,
It radiates bright as ever.
Except now it advertises something other than Budweiser.
It's funny how it can come through the smallest openings.
As if it needed any help tonight.
