numbers part two
one for krs and two for the rest
three-sixteen for the verses gotten off the chest
four-eight for the choruses i can't write
six for the height, and seven for the plight
eleven something for the worth of the hourly wage
and fifteen for the paid holidays
five for the days spent missing the fire
thousands for the torchless days before retire
three point one four for the pie from which i grab a piece
fifty two repeated for the pace of the week
six three times for the trick of the beast
far too many for the times it succeeds
two four seven for the weight of the stress
zero for solutions that i've got for the mess
eight, nine or ten for the cousin of death
whatever else gets the rest of whatever's left
